The Templeton Outdoor Quilt Show is happy to have Catherine Deeter return as our 2008 Featured Artist!
Award winning and nationally known
artist, Catherine Deeter, uses Templeton's historical, turn of the
century feed store as the back drop for this year's poster.
Her vast array of commissions include many prestigious clients
ranging from Revlon and Sunkist to Celestial Seasonings and Simon and
Schuster. She was an instructor at Art Center College of Design,
Pasadena
,
CA
and guest lecturer at many Colleges and Universities from coast to
coast.
The gardens of her Templeton home "Rose Cottage" on the old
town square have graced the pages of four national magazine
publications including Country Living Gardener.
Deeter has created the art for six children's books, one of which she
also authored, and three in collaboration with Pulitzer Prize winning
author, Alice Walker.
On hand to autograph the Templeton Quilt Show posters at the Creston
Valley Quilt Ranch Booth in the
American Legion Hall.
