Award winning and nationally known artist, Catherine Deeter, used one of Templeton's historical, turn of the century homes as the back drop for the 2009 poster. Orignally the residence of C. H. Phillips built in 1887. Currently home to the Country House Inn bed and Breakfast.

Deeter has created the art for six children's books, one of which she also authored, and three in collaboration with Pulitzer Prize winning author Alice Walker.
